LoudSky is for anyone who wants to understand aircraft activity above a place, not just watch live aircraft move across a map.

It is useful when aircraft noise matters, or when you want to know whether an area sits under regular overhead routes.

For YouTubers, filmmakers, podcasters and outdoor creators, LoudSky can help spot quieter recording times, compare locations, and understand why a place keeps getting interrupted by aircraft noise.

For house buyers, renters and property viewers, LoudSky can help check an area before or after a viewing. A place can feel quiet during a short visit, but still sit under a regular flight path at other times of the day. LoudSky helps show repeated overhead routes, busy aircraft corridors and likely aircraft noise patterns around that area.

Estate agents and property professionals may also find it useful when answering practical questions about local aircraft activity. It gives a simple way to look at nearby flight paths and explain that aircraft noise can vary by time, weather, runway use and route patterns.

  • Home workers checking daytime aircraft activity.
  • People comparing quiet places to live, work or record.
  • Residents who want plain-English aircraft noise context.
  • Garden office, studio or cabin owners checking regular overflights.
  • Community groups looking at local aircraft patterns.
  • Aviation enthusiasts who want more than live dots on a map.
  • Anyone trying to understand why one place feels louder than another.

LoudSky shows repeated overhead flight paths, busy aircraft corridors, aircraft noise context and simple flight path scores based on available aircraft data.

LoudSky is not an official aviation, airport, planning, navigation or noise-monitoring service. Results can be delayed, incomplete or approximate, but they can still give useful context when comparing places or understanding aircraft activity above an area.

Search a location to see how much recent aircraft activity LoudSky has found near it. This is not official aircraft noise data.

Enter a location and LoudSky will check regular flight paths nearby.

How this works

The app looks at predicted noise windows and groups aircraft together when they arrive close together.

A shorter gap treats aircraft as separate spells. A longer gap groups more aircraft into one spell.

Noisy spell only uses aircraft predicted to enter the close/loud zone. Distant audible aircraft are ignored here.
